The October 4 telegram was received.Please pay regular attention to the situation of the American puppet army’s advance north and the People’s Army’s retreat to the north and activities in the enemy’s rear area.Hope that you will be able to observe closely and collect information on the combat operation situation and experience of the 12th Division’s attack on and occupation of Wonju.Pak Il U has returned to North Korea. [We] have spoken to him face-to-face about everything and he will pass it all on to Premier Kim [Il Sung].
