On the Issue of Transporting [North] Korean Aid to Vietnam

[To the] Embassy [of China] in [North] Korea:

The cable dated 15 October [1965] was received. Please indicate to the [North] Korean side that since most of the [North] Korean side's material assistance to Vietnam in [the form of] military engineering equipment has been transported to Vietnam through international railways, the remaining two or so railway carriages of machinery can also continue to be shipped this way. As for whether the forty-six railway carriages of [North] Korean assistance to Vietnam have arrived in Pingxiang [in Guangxi, China], request that the [North] Korean side go through the Ministry of Railways' normal procedures for inquiries.
