The CC of the People's Party of Iran (NPI) (Cde. Radmanesh) has addressed requests to the CPSU CC:
to permit NPI CC member Cde. Iraj Iskanderi, who is in Moscow at the present time, to remain for residence in the USSR and provide him an opportunity to engage in Party work for a year in the NPI CC and to learn Russian;
to permit the arrival of Cde. Iraj Iskanderi's family in the Soviet Union from Vienna: wife Kavusyan Humayun Taj and three children;
to provide Cde. Iraj Iskanderi and his family with an apartment and [support them] materially.
We consider it possible to grant the requests of Cde. Radmanesh, holding the Moscow City Council (Cde. Yasnov) responsible for allocating a three-room apartment in the third quarter of 1955 for Iraj Iskanderi and his family, and the USSR SOKK i KP (Cde. Miterev) with paying Cde. Iraj Iskanderi 2,500 rubles a month and assuming the expenses associated with supporting Iraj Iskanderi and his family, and also their stay in a hotel.
The issue has been coordinated with Cdes. Yasnov and Miterev.
