Nehru Hopes that Premier Zhou Can Attend Afro-Asian Conference

To the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

Last night [I] attended the Indian Ambassador’s charity event, [Jawaharlal] Nehru very happily told me: “I hope Zhou Enlai can attend this [Afro-Asian] Conference, I will be waiting for him here.” I answered: “I will relay your Excellency’s proposal to our Premier Zhou”.
