Note

The Counselor-Minister of the USSR Embassy, Comrade G. Ragulin, paid me a visit and relayed the following:

On the instructions from the CC CPSU International Department, he informed that the CC CPSU examined the results of the eighth meeting of the representatives of 8 fraternal parties in Ulaanbaatar on the China matters, it accepted the documents worked out at this meeting, and undertook the following decisions:

- to work out, based on the meeting's documents, informational material for the party apparatus;

- based on the meeting's documents, to publish broad and concrete articles in the Pravda and the Komunist;

- to send instructions [orentorivki] on the issue of anti-socialist and anti-Soviet Maoist course to the Soviet diplomatic posts;

- to conduct a meeting of the heads of the ideological cone as well as appropriate institutions and organizations for a discussion on further development of the struggle against the theory and practice of Maoism;

- in 1976, to conduct an academic conference devoted to issues of the struggle of Marxism-Leninism against Maoism and rightist opportunism;

- to undertake steps with proper institutions and organizations to fully implement the instructions regarding the propaganda abroad as well as the research activity on the China question which were adopted at the meeting.

The CC CPSU expressed admiration for the collective work of fraternal parties on the subject of analyzing the China issues and working out conclusions which will be used in our future and coordinated struggle with Maoism.
