Regarding Journalists of the Jiang [Jieshi] Clique Applying to Report on the Afro-Asian Conference
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Xinhua News Agency:
The Jiang clique's Central News Agency journalist Xie-shan-cai [sic] (Indonesian nationality) has already applied to report on the Afro-Asian Conference. Other reporters of the Jiang clique from other papers have followed [his lead] and applied. What should be our attitude be toward this? Please advise.

Telegram inquiring the Chinese Foreign Ministry about how to react on journalists from Taiwan registered for reporting the Asian-African Conference. The Foreign Ministry responded that the Chinese embassy in Indonesia should only inform the Asian-African Conference Secretariat to pay attention to the journalist from the Central News Agency of Taiwan.
