RESOLUTION

from December 1980 Moscow, Kremlin

In regards with a request of CC Communist Party of Cuba and the government of Grenada give Ministry of connections and [GKES] a task to command to Grenada in 1981 on the account of the Soviet Side for up till six months two specialists with one interpreter for assistance together with Cuban specialists in putting together and repairing the broadcasting radio station, given to Grenada by Cuban government, and for preparation of Grenada technical personnel of the radio station.

[GKES] should make agreement with Grenada about housing and transportation for the Soviet specialists and an interpreter in Grenada, paid for by Grenada
side.

All the expenses of this trip to Grenada of the designated specialists and an interpreter in Soviet rubles refer to the account of assignments on the State budget of the USSR for performing humanitarian help to the foreign countries; the expenses in hard currency - to the account of [GKES] Chairman

SOVIET AMBASSADOR

Meet with a member of CC Communist Party of Cuba .H.M.Oropez and also with an ambassador of Grenada to Cuba and inform them, that in connections with the request of CC Communist Party of Cuba and government of Grenada, the resolution was adopted to send for up to six months time two soviet specialists and one interpreter for performing help together with Cuban specialists in putting together and installing equipment for a broadcasting radio station, given to Grenada by the Cuban side, and in preparation of Grenada technical personnel for working there.

This protocol relates to Soviet relations with Cuba and Grenada.
