Indonesia Invites China to Review the Achievements of the Asian-African Conference

 

Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

 

On 20 May [1955], we received a message from the Indonesian foreign ministry, the content is as follows:

 

“To stabilize the cooperative spirit of the representatives at the Bandung Afro-Asian conference, the Republic of Indonesia Broadcast Station will be airing a series of English programs. Therefore we invite the head of each [conference] member country’s embassy to formulate a review of the achievements of the Afro-Asian conference. The review will be recorded and then aired during the above mentioned program. The [Indonesian] foreign ministry specially asks for [your] embassy’s cooperation, and hopes [your] embassy may notify [your] foreign ministry to arrange the head of [your] embassy’s reception of our representatives. This is for the convenience of recording the review by representatives from the Republic of Indonesia Broadcast Station. Time and location.”
