Second Daily Report on the Activities of the Delegation (April 19th)

1. 9:00AM to 12:00PM, 3:00PM to 6:00PM, the conference continues with each delegation head providing remarks. Other than handing the conference secretariat a draft of our remarks, this afternoon our delegation head also gave an elaboration speech at the conference.

2. The small economic and cultural committees convened for the first time at 9:00AM. Comrade Yeh Ji Zhuang and Comrade Huang Zhen represented us and attended the above mentioned two small committees. On the 18th from 9PM to 12, Menon of India came to visit Premier Zhou [Enlai] and Vice-Premier Chen [Yun].
