The Prime Ministers of India and Other Countries are Going to Jakarta to attend the Bogor Conference

To the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

(1) Antara said on the 19th [of December]: According to the journalism section of the Indian embassy, Nehru, Dr. Mai-s8 [sic] from the Foreign Ministry and Menon will be reaching Bangkok on the 26th to be Thailand’s top guests. The next day [they] will fly to Jakarta to attend the two day Bogor Conference on the 28th and the 29th. They are set to return to India on January 1st.

The Indian Information Agency once reported: U Nu will be reaching Jakarta on the 26th, on the same day he will be traveling to Yogyakarta for visit; Ceylon’s prime minister will be reaching there on the 28th; the itinerary of the prime minister of Pakistan is unclear.

(2) The head of the political department of the Jakarta city government, ALAMSUDI, told Antara journalists on the 17th: On the 30th, the mass assembly will be held at the Jakarta sports stadium and conducted by Mayor Sudiro; the prime ministers of the five countries in addition to President Sukarno will be attending and speaking at the event.
