Letter, UN Chef de Cabinet Narasimhan to UNCURK Principal Secretary Nekunam, Concerning Support to UNCURK

CVN/Cc

23 February 1967

Dear Ali,

I hope that by the time this letter reaches you you will have returned to Seoul after a successful session of the Commission in Tokyo.

I returned from my trip to the Far East on 19 February and I have since seen Mr. Syrovy’s letter of 27 January, your letter of 10 February and your further report of 17 January. I am glad to have the news regarding the continuation of logistical support for UNCURK. I hope that the difficulties in regard to the Alternate Representatives can be ironed out soon.

I also hope that during your visit to Tokyo you will have a chance to meet with Dr. Luke Lee, about whom I wrote to you in the course of my travels.

Regarding your confidential letter on the subject of Mamoharan, I shall send you, and him, a separate reply in due course.

With best wishes,

Yours sincerely,

C.V. Narasimhan
