MESSAGE TO MR. PRESIDENT TRUMAN FROM STALIN

I received your message about the withdrawal of American and Soviet troops from Czechoslovakia. Unfortunately, it was delivered to me with a delay in view of the irregular nature of the air mail from Moscow to Sochi in connection with the rough weather. Your suggestion about the withdrawal of troops during November can only be welcomed, especially as it completely agrees with the Soviet plan for the demobilization and withdrawal of troops. Consequently, one can consider that the withdrawal of Soviet and American troops from Czechoslovakia will be completed by 1 December.

Stalin confirms that all Soviet and American troops should be withdrawn from Czechoslovakia by December 1, 1945.
