我这个人老早就讲了，要为劳动人民服务，要为工农兵，讲了二十几年。可是以后没有去抓。只要你不去抓，他就照例不动。不为工农兵服务，不为社会主义服务而是为资本主义封建主义服务。……资产阶级掌握文化、艺术、教育、学术，可顽固啊！尽是他们的人，我们的人很少。这种情况再过几年可能会在你们国家出现。
Mao emphasizes that the Cubans should not allow the bourgeoisie to control their culture, art, and academics.
