On the 4th, Foreign Ministry Deputy Chief of Protocol Abo Suzadegi [TN: literal transliteration], in a telephone call with me, said: “I have set appointments for Special Envoy Nakayama with Majlis Speaker Rafsanjani, Prime Minister Mousavi, Foreign Minister Velayati, and Deputy Foreign Minister Ardebili. In addition, I think that I can inform you of the dates and times by the time of the Special Envoy’s arrival.”
Accordingly, together with expressing appreciation for the Iranian side’s consideration, I again made a request for the Special Envoy to be able to hold in-depth talks at each meeting. (End)
