Alekseyev, Alexander Ivanovich 1913- 1989

Alexander Ivanovich Alexeyev (Александр Иванович Алексеев), also spelled Aleksandr Ivanovich Alekseev, served as the Soviet ambassador to Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
