Wieck, Hans-Georg 1928-

Dr. Hans-Georg Wieck served as the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany) to Iran from 1974 to 1977, the Soviet Union from 1977 to 1980, and India from 1990 to 1993. He also served as Germany's Permanent Representative to NATO (1980-1985), and held other positions inside of the German government and in other international and non-governmental bodies.
