Kim Sang-hyeop
ROK Prime Minister from 1982 to 1983 and the President of the Korean Red Cross Society in 1985.
KIM SANG-HYEOP (1920-1995). A graduate of Tokyo Imperial University in 1942, he taught at Korea University (1957-1962, 1963-1970, 1972-1982). He served as the minister of education (1962) under President Park Chung Hee, and president of Korea University (1970-75). Elected to the National Assembly in 1980, he was named prime minister in 1982, resigning in 1983. He became president of the Korean Red Cross Society in 1985.
