September 22, 1948	Telephone Message via VCh, Kim Il Sung to Generalissimo Iosif Vissarionovich Stalin Kim praises Stalin and the USSR for its role in securing Korean independence and in negotiating with the Americans on the Korean issue
September 16, 1952	Report, Zhou Enlai to the Chairman [Mao Zedong] and the Central Committee Zhou Enlai updates Mao Zedong on the latest conversations with Stalin and other members of the Soviet leadership. Topics of discussion included Soviet technical assistance to China, developments in the Korean War, the United Nations, and the formation of a regional organization for Asia.
September 13, 1952	Cable, Zhou Enlai to Chairman Mao Zhou Enlai reports that Kim Il Sung, Pak Heon-yeong, and Peng Dehuai will reach Beijing on October 16.
July 16, 1952	Ciphered Telegram No. 4018 from Filippov [Stalin] to Mao Zedong via Krasovsky Stalin agrees with Mao's position on repatriation and says Kim Il Sung agrees as well.
July 30, 1951	Telegram from Gromyko to Poskrebyshevu, Relaying a Letter from Kim Il Sung in Stalin's Name Kim Il Sung's letter states that DPRK has begun the shipment of lead, lead ore, and lead concentrate to the Soviet Union.
November 2, 1950	Ciphered Telegram from Shtykov to Fyn-Si [Stalin], Transmitting a Letter to Stalin from Kim Il Sung In agreement with the Chinese comrades, Korean reserves are to be withdrawn to Manchuria, including nine infantry divisions, and officers school, a tank regiment-in-training, and an air division with an aviation regiment-in-training. Six combat divisions will be preparing in Korea.
September 30, 1950	Cable No. 600308, Shtykov to Stalin, transmitting Letter from Kim Il Sung and Pak Heon-Yeong Telegram from Kim Il Sung and Pak Heon-yeong telling Stalin of the losses they have incurred following American air and ground attacks in South Korea and of their general lack of supplies and trained personnel.
September 28, 1950	Telegram, Gromyko to Cde. I.V. Stalin, Transmitting Letter from Kim Il Sung Kim Il Sung expresses his gratitude. In his telegram Gromyko informs Stalin of other letters from Kim Il Sung concerning the training of 120 Korean pilots in the Soviet Union, the supply of cars to the DPRK, the four advisors to North Korea's Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the wages of the air force cadets of the People's Army who are training in the Soviet Union.
October 12, 1948	Telephone Message via VCh, I. Stalin to Kim Il Sung Telegram from Stalin to Kim Il Sung acknowledging Kim's telegram from the 8th of October. Stalin states that the Soviet government is ready to begin diplomatic relations with the DPRK, exchange ambassadors, and start economic relations
