May 1967	Directive [from Mao Zedong] Regarding the State of International [Affairs] Mao argues that Europe remains the strategic center of US-Soviet conflict.
March 17, 1987	Antonio Rubbi, 'Note for Comrades: Natta and Napolitano' This document dated March 17, 1987 is a report from Antonio Rubbi on his meeting with the Chinese foreign minister, Wu Xueqian. The most interesting facts of the meeting were that China expected to establish full relations with all Eastern European socialist countries by the end of 1987 and that the student protests had been fueled by intellectuals who wanted to “westernize” the country. As for Hu Yaobang, the Chinese official explained that had been removed from office because he had failed to uphold the principles of Chinese policy.
February 1, 1983	Antonio Rubbi, 'Note for Comrades: Berlinguer, Pajetta, Bufalini, and the Secretariat' Introduced by a cover letter by Antonio Rubbi dated February 1, 1983, this letter from Siegmund Ginzberg dated January 27, 1983 is an account of a conversation with Deng Liqun in which he uses harsh words when speaking of US President Ronald Reagan. The letter also provides an overview of the state of Chinese relations with communist parties around the world.
August 23, 1983	Meeting with Foreign Minister Wu Xueqian This document is an account of the meeting between Wu Xueqian, Chinese foreign minister, and Enrico Berlinguer, secretary of the Italian Communist Party, in Beijing on August 28, 1983. The topics covered by the meeting were the improvement in relations with the Eastern bloc and talks on disarmament, as well as relations with other countries
July 12, 1981	Report 3: Delegation of the Chinese Communist Party, 3-12 July 1981: Third Meeting of the Two Delegations, Saturday 11 July at 17.00 Chiaromonte and Peng Chong discuss on the internal situation in China after the 6th Plenum; on URSS and Afghanistan; Cambodia; European missiles; on China and Soviet Union. Berlinguer comments on the resolution of the 6th Plenum and appreciate it.

June 9, 1969	Soviet Embassy in North Korea, 'Concerning Changes in the Views of the Korean Leadership on Questions of the Unity of the Socialist Camp and the International Communist Movement' The report states that the DPRK is influenced less by Beijing and has started to contact European socialist countries more. It describes how DPRK is advocating for “absolute independence” as well.
October 11, 1973	Meeting of Prime Minister Trudeau and Premier Zhou Enlai at the State Guest House (Diaoyutai) Zhou Enlai offers Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau an extensive history of the Chinese Civil War and Chinese Revolution. Zhou also comments on China's foreign policy positions toward and views on the Soviet Union, nuclear war, Bangladesh, revisionism, and great power hegemony, among other topics.
January 25, 1982	Cable from the Embassy of the Hungarian People's Republic to China, 'Some New Phenomena in the Chinese Pursuit to Differentiate Socialist Countries' Soviet bloc diplomats respond to a report on China's foreign policy and strategy to move closer to Soviet allies.
December 15, 1986	Secret Telegram from Jász, 'On the Relations between China and the Socialist Countries in 1986' A Hungarian report on China's changing relations with the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.
