October 7, 1977	Report on Visits to the Mongolian People's Republic and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea In September 1977, W. Jaruzelski visited Mongolia and the DPRK. While in North Korea, Jaruzelski met with President Kim Il Sung and the Minister of National Defense O Jin U. Although Jaruzelski did make several critical comments about the DPRK in his secret post-trip report, he still spoke in highly favorable terms about the country and generally recommended that Poland strengthen its relations with North Korea. Jaruzelsk's report also includes commentary on China's relations with both Mongolia and the DPRK.
July 5, 1961	Record of a Conversation between N. S. Khrushchev and Chen Yi, Deputy Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Chen asks Khrushchev to go over the pressing international issues and he presents the USSR's stances on the situation in Laos, South Korea, and Cuba. Khrushchev also raises problems in GDR and difficulties in negotiations with Western powers with regards to the German question. Khrushchev also mentions Soviet plans to launch a spaceship and resume nuclear testing. The two leaders also discuss the challenges of agricultural development.
September 21, 1961	Transcript of Conversation between Zhou Enlai and Bernard Law Montgomery Premier Zhou speaks with Viscount Montgomery of Alamein about propositions to ease international tensions. Zhou agrees with Montgomery's three propositions one of which is withdrawal of foreign troops from other countries territory. Zhou proposes withdrawal of U.S. troops from South Korea and Taiwan cross straits. Also, on the Taiwan issue, Zhou says that there is only one China and Taiwan is a part of China. Zhou believes that Taiwan issue is a internal domestic issue that should not be discussed by the UN.
October 3, 1950	Transcript of Conversation between Zhou Enlai and K.M. Panikkar Zhou Enlai talks with K.M. Panikkar about a letter from Jawaharlal Nehru asking about the North Korea issue and U.S. involvement on the Korean peninsula. Zhou expresses that if American soldiers cross the 38th parallel, then China will take charge of the issue. Zhou also communicates the desire from the Chinese side for the peaceful settlement of the Korea issuen through the UN, which will first require foreign armed forces to exit the Korean peninsula.
June 20, 1956	Gazette of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, 1956, No. 23 (Overall Issue No. 49) This issue addresses the temporary withdrawal of Neutral Nations Supervisory Commission inspection teams from designated North and South Korean ports. It also discusses the Sino-American ambassadorial talks, results from the national economic plan for 1955, and environmental and industrial concerns. One section addresses the problem of reducing illiteracy among opera and drama artists.
January 9, 1956	Gazette of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, 1956, No. 01 (Overall Issue No. 27) This issue begins with a joint declaration from China and the German Democratic Republic about their Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation. It also discusses an encounter in which South Korean naval ships shot at and attempted to seize Chinese fishing boats. Other sections cover an agreement to import rice from Myanmar in exchange for Chinese goods, agriculture, and tax exemptions for medical organizations.
August 25, 1955	Gazette of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, 1955, No. 13 (Overall Issue No. 16) This issue begins with a notice about the establishment of Sino-Nepalese diplomatic relations. It then features a statement from the PRC Ministry of Foreign Affairs about South Korean threats to disrupt the Korean Armistice Agreement. Other sections address various matters such as construction, instructions from the Ministry of Supervision on equipment maintenance in industrial departments, and the allocation of jobs for college graduates after the summer.
November 11, 1986	Cable No. 3175, Ambassador Mikanagi to the Foreign Minister, 'The Prime Minister’s Visit to China (Republic of Korea’s Expression of Gratitude)' The Japanese Ambassador in Korea reports that the ROK government is pleased that Nakasone raised the issue of ROK-PRC relations while in China.
November 9, 1986	Cable No. 3754, Ambassador Nakae to the Foreign Minister, 'The Prime Minister’s Visit to China (Meeting with General Secretary Hu - Korean Peninsula)' Hu and Nakasone discuss the possibility of expanding ties between the ROK and the PRC, and North Korea's likely reactions.
