October 7, 1977	Report on Visits to the Mongolian People's Republic and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea In September 1977, W. Jaruzelski visited Mongolia and the DPRK. While in North Korea, Jaruzelski met with President Kim Il Sung and the Minister of National Defense O Jin U. Although Jaruzelski did make several critical comments about the DPRK in his secret post-trip report, he still spoke in highly favorable terms about the country and generally recommended that Poland strengthen its relations with North Korea. Jaruzelsk's report also includes commentary on China's relations with both Mongolia and the DPRK.
May 15, 1949	Telegram, Shtykov to Vyshinsky Shtykov recounts a recent meeting between Kim Il and Mao Zedong.
September 10, 1961	Record of Conversation between Comrade Kim Il Sung and Comrade Deng Xiaoping Deng Xiaoping and Kim Il Sung discuss a range of issues, including agriculture in North Korea, Koreans in Japan, and the situation in South Korea.
December 15, 1965	Cable, Ruo Jiaoyu and Li Qiang to the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, 'Vice Premier Ri Ju-yeon's Discussion of War Materials' Ambassador Ruo Jiaoyu and Li Qiang summarize a meeting held with Ru Ju-yeon on China's provision of war materials to North Korea. The two countries reached a consensus that "[North] Korea’s support for the revolution in the South [Korea] is needed."
October 20, 1966	Report, Embassy of Hungary in the Soviet Union to the Hungarian Foreign Ministry The Hungarian Embassy reports on North Korea's relations with the Soviet Union and China and Japan's foreign relations.
November 25, 1967	Report, Embassy of Hungary in the Soviet Union to the Hungarian Foreign Ministry The Hungarian Embassy in the Soviet Union reports that Sino-Korean relations continue to deteriorate, along with the capabilities of the Korean People's Army.
April 10, 1950	Ciphered telegram, Soviet Representative Aleksei Ignatieff in Pyongyang to Vyshinsky In a discussion between Mao Zedong and Ri Ju-yeon, Mao expresses a positive attitude toward China-North Korea relations, though indicates he is unaware that Kim Il Sung was then in the Soviet Union.
November 22, 1973	Report, Embassy of Hungary in North Korea to the Hungarian Foreign Ministry Diplomats of the Soviet Bloc discuss relations between the two Koreas, and what would be necessary for reunification. Sino-Korean relations, and Chinese military aid to the DPRK are also discussed.
February 8, 1952	Ciphered Telegram No. 16293 from Beijing, Mao Zedong to Filippov [Stalin] Mao conveys two telegrams to Stalin: one from Peng Dehuai to Mao (22 January 1952) and the other is Mao’s response (4 February 1952). The telegrams discuss North Korea’s need for aid from China.
