November 16, 1979	Letter, Kim Il Sung to Josip Broz Tito Kim Il Sung discusses South Korean leader Park Chung Hee, as well as the revolt in Busan and Masan on the 19th April 1960 and the uprising that broke out in October. Elsewhere, Kim discusses policy towards the US and South Korea regarding the resolution of the unification issue, and of the DPRK’s proposal for a peaceful solution. He thanks Tito for his active support and solidarity towards the DPRK.
March 28, 1978	Response of the President of the [Socialist Federal] Republic [of Yugoslavia], J.B. Tito, to Kim Il Sung During his visit to the United States, Tito stressed that relations between states should be based on equality and independence. Regarding the possibility of dialogue between the US and the DPRK, Yugoslavia could help with a low level trilateral dialogue.
February 6, 1978	Message from the President of the [Democratic] People's Republic of Korea and the Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Il Sung, to the President of the [SF] Republic [of Yugoslavia], Josip Broz Tito. Kim Il Sung criticizes Park Chung Hee and says the United States should "remove" him.
June 1, 1978	Telegram from the Secretary of State to the American Embassy in Seoul, 'Dr. Brzezinski’s Meeting with President Park' Brzezinski briefed President Park on two exchanges with the Chinese leaders. They mainly talked about whether the Chinese leaders behave as spokesmen for Kim Il Sung or not.
February 28, 1977	Telegram from the American Embassy in Seoul to the Secretary of State, 'Approach to Pakistanis on US-North Korean Contacts' Sneider reported President Park's appreciation for being informed of exchanges with Kim Il Sung. He also welcomed consistency of US position refusing direct contact with North Korea.

November 22, 1979	Telegram to the Asia Department Head from Information and Culture Department, 'North Korea Holds Chief Diplomatic Officers Conference' The Information and Culture Department of the South Korean Foreign Ministry analyzes the outcomes and reasoning behind the recall of North Korea's diplomatic staff from around the world, speculating that the maneuver is related to a North Korean attempt to take advantage of the situation in South Korea following Park Chung Hee's death.
