July 12, 1948	Memo of the Directorate for Foreign Relations of the USSR Armed Forces General Staff about the Results of a Conference of Leaders of the Political Parties and Organizations of North and South Korea The statement describes the conference which took place in Pyongyang from June 29 to July 5. The main goal of the conference was to discuss the separate elections held in South Korea and possibilities for the unification of Korea. The North Korean representatives considered the National Assembly formed in South Korea to be illegitimate and urged for the expulsion of foreign powers in order to achieve a unified Korea.

Molotov, Report about the Work of the Joint Soviet-American Commission to Implement the Moscow Decision of the Three Ministers of Foreign Affairs concerning Korea This document is a report on the Moscow Decision. It includes a 27 page report, a list of questions for the consultation with the parties, a section about the procedure of the consultation with the parties and social organizations, and a report on the work of factories in north Korea.
December 10, 1945	Malik, 'On the Question of a United Government in Korea' This document discusses the creation of an independent Korea. Roosevelt, Churchill, and Chiang Kai-shek first presented the idea at the Cairo Conference in 1943. The United States supports the creation of a single Korean state while the USSR opposes it. The document discusses the importance of the answer to the unification question for the Soviet Union's political and economic future as well as its interest in the Far East.
October 21, 1954	Talking Points from Premier Zhou Enlai’s Third Meeting with Nehru Zhou Enlai and Nehru discuss Sino-Indian relations, as well as China and India's views toward Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Vietnam, and Ceylon (Sri Lanka).
April 24, 1955	Speech by Premier Zhou Enlai at the Closing Session of the Asian-African Conference Premier Zhou praises the delegates at the Bandung Conference for their work in opposing colonialism, safeguarding world peace, and promoting friendly cooperation among African and Asian countries, while beseeching them to join China in working towards the peaceful unification of Korea and eliminating the tension in the Taiwan area.
November 23, 1963	Cable from the Chinese Foreign Ministry, 'Request for Instructions on Supporting Korea’s Memorandum, “Ways to Resolve the Question of Korean Unification”' The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs proposes two options to the Central Committee for demonstrating its support for North Korea's position that the Korean issue should not be discussed at the United Nations General Assembly. The Ministry recommends that the People's Daily publishes supportive editorials but also suggests that other organizations could express their support for North Korea to newspapers instead.
