December 22, 1954	Soviet Translation, 'Statement of the Iran Party Regarding the Bill to Receive a Loan from Foreign Countries' (Attachment) The Iran Party's statement is critical of the recent loans made to Iran by the Americans and the British, which it believes will leave Iran indebted to countries that just want to exploit the people and resources of Iran. Also includes various Iranian trade figures.
June 4, 1973	Minutes of Conversation between the Shah and Nicolae Ceaușescu, Bucharest Describes conversation between Nicolae Ceausescu and the Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi about the influence of events in the Middle East on the rest of Europe because of oil. The Shah suggests detente as a world policy.
August 19, 1969	Policy Memorandum from the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, No. 05/03901, 'Request of the United Arab Republic Government that Romania Stops Using the Oil Pipeline Eilat-Mediterranean Sea to Transport Crude Imported from Iran' Romanian Deputy Foreign Minister, Petru Burlacu met with the charge d'affaires of the United Arab Republic in Bucharest, Fikry Mehanny Nakhla. Nakhla told Burlacu that he had discovered that the Romanians used the Eilat-Mediterranean Sea pipeline to transport oil from Iran which went through Egypt, and asked that this stop. Romanian government decided to leave this request unanswered. Topics of memorandum also included bilateral relations between Romania and Iran.
May 1967	Informative Note on the Visit of the Romanian President of the Council of Ministers, Chivu Stoica, to Iran, 13-19 May 1967 The Shah explained to Chivu Stoica that Iran was interested in building a special pipeline just for socialist countries, but also said that he realized that this 'could irritate certain socialist countries' and Iran was happy to act bilaterally in the case of Romania.
April 16, 1967	Telegram from the Romanian Embassy in Teheran, No. 84.075 Dranceanu recounts a conversation with the Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. It was brought up that Moscow had suggested that the socialist countries could build a 'consortium' that would receive Iranian oil via a pipeline through the Soviet territory.
March 15, 1967	Minutes of Conversation between Nicolae Ceaușescu and Soltan V.H. Sanandaji, Iran’s New Ambassador to Romania, Bucharest Ambassador Sanandaji explained to Ceaușescu in March 1967 that the economic growth of Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union would require increasing oil imports that could be met by Iran's growing crude production. The question was how this oil would reach the European market and how it would be distributed within the socialist bloc.
October 15, 1952	Report to V. M. Molotov on Draft Instructions to Cde. Sadchikov, the Soviet Ambassador in Iran Draft set of instructions for the Soviet Ambassador to Iran, Sadchikov. Indicates several areas for him to pay attention to and report on, specifically Iranian national liberation movements, the "National Front," and plans for nationalizing the oil industry. Also note that he should be especially careful to not appear as if the Soviet Union is taking a stance against Mohammad Mossadegh.
April 11, 1952	Report to I. V. Stalin on Ambassador Sadchikov's Conversation with Shaoban Kazemi, Kashani's Secretary Report on the meeting between Soviet representative, Sadchikov, and Iranian secretary Kashemi, where they discuss the possibility of Iranian sale of oil to the Soviet Union. Sadchikov requests instructions for future meeting. Document reiterates that there should be no Soviet agreement of non-interference in internal Iranian affairs.
April 1952	VKP(b) CC Decree, 'Concerning Instructions to Cde. Sadchikov, the Soviet Ambassador in Iran, in Connection with the Iranian Government's Offer to Sell the Soviet Union Oil' Instructions to Soviet representatives in Iran, informing them that they are to show interest in Iranian offers of oil, but ask for specific proposals and note problems with the Soviet oil tanker fleet. Also notes that they emphasize that this issue is tied to that of Soviet-Iranian financial negotiations, and that any problems in this area are not the fault of the Soviet Union.
