This report emphasizes American propaganda in the Middle East, such as promoting democracy and American way of life, as well as its anti-Soviet propaganda. The report also extensively lists the Americans' participation in the region such as how much money and resources were devoted there, including from private institutions.

In this letter the Committee for State Security reports that Turkmen and Azerbaijan Border Districts had noticed a concentration of Soviet troops near the Iranian border, with some concluding the Soviet Union is beginning a policy of threats towards Iran.

Following the "Anti-Party Group's" failed removal of Khrushchev as General Secretary of the CPSU, the People's Party of Iran sends a resolution approving of the CPSU CC plenum's actions and the policy of de-Stalinization.

Resolution of the CC of the People's Party of Iran of 1 March 1957 Regarding the Events of February 1949

Following Naser Fakhr Arai's attempt to kill the Shah in February 1949, the People's Party of Iran faced accusations that it had a direct role in the assassination attempt. The NPI denied any direct role, however contends that executive committee member Kyanuri and Party official Argani were connected in the capacity that they were aware of it. The resolution seeks to explain their character of connection and their degree of responsibility.

Resolution of the CC of the People's Party of Iran about Some Mistaken and Blanquist Decisions of the NPI Leadership

This resolution addresses the People's Party of Iran's actions regarding the Party's mistakes after the August 1953 coup. Some members of the party went through with partisan raids and seizures when that was no longer the plan, as well as with the distribution of leaflets titled "Announcement of Danger." The explanation given by the NPI was that although the party supports violent measures when necessary and approved by the masses, the decisions made in this instance by the executive committee did not have the support of the masses, and therefore were flawed.

This statement was made by Joudat at the 2nd Party Conference of the Azerbayjani Democratic Party in Baku on March 24-25 1957. His statement spoke out against imperialism and the accomplishments of DPA organizations.

Letter to the CPSU Central Committee, Request from Mustafayev, the First Secretary of the CC of the Communist Party of Azerbaijan

This letter from Mustafayev requests that the CPSU CC send a representative to the conference hosted by the Azerbaijan Democratic Party in Baku. The CPSU agreed that it was possible to send Kozlov. Kozlov then returned from assignment and reported the trip's results.

M. Tarasov, 'Report about the Visit of a USSR Supreme Soviet Delegation to Iran from 20 January to 1 February 1957'

This report focuses on the delegation of the USSR Supreme Soviet that visited Iran in for several days in 1957 and describes all aspects of the visit in great detail. The conclusion at the end of the trip was that it had been a positive experience and would go far in strengthening the friendship between the two countries.

Letter. V. Semenov to the CPSU CC, containing 'Annotation of the "Mardom" Newspaper No. 267 of 8 October 1955'

This is a review of several newspaper articles from an October 8, 1955 issue. It included stories on the economic and poverty situation in Iran and a suggested solution of increasing trade with the Soviet Union to solve it, as well as commentary that if Iran joins a military pact it will put the military under control of the Americans and British.

Letter, N. Danilov to B.N. Ponomarev, 'Concerning the Trip of Iranian Cultural Figures to the USSR'

This informational memo discusses a trip to the USSR made my Iranian cultural figures who visited many of the cultural and artistic centers of the USSR and then returned to Iran speaking very highly of their experience. The memo notes that although their positive statements were published in many newspapers, there were still some reactionaries that tried to discredit the trip.
