September 17, 1947	Letter, Robert A. Lovett to V.M. Molotov Responding to Molotov's letter about Korea dated September 4, Lovett writes that the US will refer the Korean issue to the United Nations and forego further bilateral discussions with the USSR.
January 3, 1947	Central Intelligence Group, ORE 5/1, 'The Situation in Korea' An intelligence report about both North and South Korea. The report explains what the situation currently is and what is projected to happen with Soviet and American interaction with their respective Koreas.
July 8, 1991	Virendra Dayal, 'Note for the File' The DPRK handed in the letter and declaration whereby it applies for UN membership and suggested the application to be handled with that ROK in the same manner.
November 9, 1982	'Notes on the Secretary-General's Meeting with the Permanent Observer of the Republic of Korea' The note briefs the discussion between the SG, Mr. Cordovez and the ROK Ambassador Kim regarding possible approaches to foster inter-Korean relations.
August 6, 1991	Neil Briscoe, 'Notes of the Secretary-General's meeting with the Permanent Observer of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to the United Nations' DPRK Ambassador addresses DPRK's position on denuclearization of Korea peninsula and mentions a proposal to submit Presidential draft resolutions to the Security Council and to the General Assembly regarding the UN membership application.
June 26, 1991	Virendra Dayal, 'Timing of Forthcoming Applications by DPRK and ROK to Join the United Nations' This note indicates the two Koreas' shared desire to coordinate the timing of their forthcoming applications for membership. In light of this, Mr. Safronchuk is asked to be in touch with both Observer Missions.
June 26, 1991	J. P. Kavanagh, 'Note of the Secretary-General's Meeting with the Permanent Observer of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, H.E. Mr. Pak Gil Yon' Permanent Observer of DPRK broached two questions to SG regarding the situation on the Korean peninsula and the application of UN membership.
March 25, 1976	Message from the President of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Kim Il Sung, to the President of the [Socialist Federal] Republic [of Yugoslavia], Josip Broz Tito Kim shares his opinion with the preparations for the upcoming fifth Non-Aligned Movement summit in Colombo. Elsewhere, he discusses issues in Korea and problems related to South Korea.
November 4, 1975	Message from the President of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Kim Il Sung, to the President of the [Socialist Federal] Republic [of Yugoslavia], Josip Broz Tito Kim Il Sung expresses his gratitude to President Tito and the Yugoslav government for their active engagement and assistance in the adoption of the draft resolution, supported by 43 other UN members states, supporting the DPRK's proposal for reunification. He says that the friendship between Yugoslavia and Korea will continue to strengthen in the future, as will bilateral relations between the two countries.
February 1, 1975	Message from the President of the [Democratic People's] Republic of Korea, Kim Il Sung, to the President of the [Socialist Federal] Republic [of Yugoslavia], Josip Broz Tito In remarks conveyed to Tito, Kim Il Sung asks for the support of Yugoslavia in admitting the DPRK into the Non-Aligned Movement with full membership. Elsewhere, he expresses his recognition of Non-Aligned politics, especially the role of Yugoslavia and President Tito in the international community.
