Letter from the Embassy of Pakistan to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (No. 1542-F-171/53)

The Embassy of Pakistan present their compliments to the Ministry of Foreign of the Central People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China and have the honour to state that the undermentioned Pakistani nationals in Chini Bagh, Kashgar would very shortly proceed to Pakistan in the company of Mr. Mahmud Shah of Chini Bagh, Kashgar:
- Faiz Mohammad Khan with five members of his family.
- Abdullah Jon with family.
2. The financial position of Messrs Faiz Mohammad Khan and Abdullah Jon is very poor and they cannot afford to engage carriers. The Embassy would be grateful if the local Administration of Sinkiang could be asked to allow them to buy one pony per head.
The Embassy of Pakistan avail themselves of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Central People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China the assurances of their highest consideration.
The Embassy of Pakistan writes to the Chinese Foreign Ministry regarding the welfare of Pakistani nationals in Xinjiang.
