Protocol on coordination of the Czechoslovak Interior Ministry delegation and border troops of the Soviet Union on state security

This protocol resulted from a meeting between the Czechoslovak interior ministry and Soviet border troop representatives. The two parties convened to coordinate public safety measures undertaken in protection of the Czechoslovak-Soviet border.

Agreement between the KGB and the interior ministry of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic on governmental officials' advisory roles

The KGB and the Interior Ministry of the Czechoslovak Republic met to discuss article 8 of the Treaty between the governments of the USSR and CSSR on the broadcast of Soviet specialists in the CSSR and Czechoslovak specialists in the USSR for the purpose of providing technical help and various services. Payment for services rendered is discussed.

Cooperative agreement between the Soviet KGB and Czechoslovak Ministry of the Interior for the year 1977

The Soviet KGB and Czechoslovak Interior Ministry agree to the exchange of workers between the two countries. These exchanges would focus on the sharing of information and expertise in various areas, including: identification procedures for unidentified bodies, security measures for capital regions, fire-fighting methods and ways to combat subversive activity in youth and teenagers. The two parties also agree to the exchange of publications on the Soviet military, security and criminology, which are listed by title and number of copies.

CC CPSU Information on Chinese Foreign Policy Issues

Discusses the joint efforts by Chinese and American leaders to promote a better relationship between these two countries, at the expense of the Soviet Union and of communism. The U.S. seems to be trying to capitalize on a growing “internal stability” in China, and the U.S. is even now selling equipment to China. The Soviet Union does not believe that this alliance will prove powerful enough to significantly impair other Socialist countries, but their alliance should also not be ignored.

The KGB and head representative of operative technical services for the Czechoslovak Ministry of the Interior agreed to a plan to continue the exchange of scientific-technical information and samples of operative technology and to convene meetings of specialists on these topics.
